The Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé is an exquisite champagne that combines the tradition and innovation of the renowned Veuve Clicquot winery. Founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot, it achieved worldwide fame thanks to the exceptional leadership of Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin, widow of François Clicquot. Madame Clicquot revolutionized champagne with the invention of vibration technology and the production of the first rosé
champagne through blending.
The Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé consists of a careful blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Meunier, complemented by red Pinot Noir wines. These grape varieties give champagne its structure, fruitiness and finesse. Pinot Noir brings strength and structure, Chardonnay provides elegance and freshness, while Meunier
enhances the fruity notes.
This champagne is characterized by its bright salmon-pink color with coppery reflections. The bouquet unfolds intense aromas of red and black fruits such as cherry, strawberry, raspberry and blueberry, complemented by spicy notes of licorice and pastry. On the palate, it is full-bodied and fruity, with a harmonious balance and an
elegant, long finish.
The Champagne wine region is known for its continental climate, which is characterized by cold winters and warm summers. The region’s calcareous soils offer ideal conditions for growing champagne grapes. The Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé ages in the winery’s historic chalk cellars for at least three years, giving it its silky texture and complexity.
