The Moscato d’Asti DOCG 2024 from Prunotto is an excellent white wine from Piedmont, Italy, made exclusively from the Moscato Bianco di Canelli grape. This vintage has an intense straw yellow colour with golden reflections. On the nose, it develops a rich bouquet of aromas reminiscent of acacia flowers, wisteria, orange and bergamot, accompanied by notes of sage and elderflower. On the palate, it is full-bodied, elegant and lively, with a harmonious sweetness and a fresh, persistent perlage.
Moscato d’Asti is typical for its balance of natural sweetness and refreshing acidity, which makes it particularly pleasant and easy to drink. The grapes for this wine are gently pressed and the must is slowly fermented at controlled temperatures until the desired alcohol content of around 5% is reached. This method preserves the wine’s freshness and intense fruit aromas.
