Leads with pure cassis and black cherry aromas followed by notes of cedar, cigar box, and licorice. The expressive palate displays abundant red berry, bing cherry, and fresh plum flavors with a bright, ageworthy finish. Delicious with grilled rosemary lamb chops, garlic mashed potatoes, and roasted beets.

The 2018 Cuvee Pau is brooding and dark in the glass. Dusty rose and red currant aromas form its bouquet. This flows across the palate with creamy textural fruit as cooling minerality offsets a molten chocolate note. The 2018 tapers off tannic, leaving a staining of primary concentration that adds further tension.
