The Gavi di Gavi DOCG Etichetta Bianca 2024 by Bergaglio has a clear straw yellow colour with slight greenish reflections. On the nose, it develops an intense bouquet of citrus fruits, green apples and white flowers, accompanied by subtle mineral notes. On the palate, it impresses with lively and refreshing acidity, fruity aromas of lemon and green apple, and an elegant and mineral finish.

This wine is made from 100% Cortese grapes grown in the Gavi region. Cortese is known for its crisp acidity, delicate aromas and ability to reflect the minerality of the soil. Typical of Gavi di Gavi are the calcareous soils, which give the wines their characteristic freshness and minerality, as well as the temperate climate, which is characterized by the nearby mountains and the influence of the Mediterranean Sea.

The Gavi wine-growing region is famous for its high-quality white wines. The combination of rich soils and a mild climate provides optimal conditions for growing Cortese grapes. An interesting fact: Gavi di Gavi was one of Italy’s first white wines to achieve international renown.
