Winemaker’s Background:
Domaine Vincent Paris, founded in 1997, has quickly become one of the most respected names in Cornas. Nephew of legendary winemaker Robert Michel, Vincent Paris farms his 6 hectares organically, following many biodynamic principles, and is celebrated for combining traditional methods with a refined, terroir-driven style. His wines are known for their balance of fruit purity, minerality, and peppery intensity, hallmarks of great Cornas.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve at 16–18 °C after decanting for an hour to allow the aromatics to open fully. This Syrah’s pepper-spiced intensity makes it a perfect match for hearty dishes such as slow-cooked lamb shanks, braised beef stew, or grilled venison. It also pairs beautifully with earthy root vegetables and aged cheeses.
This wine delivers Cornas at its most approachable, fragrant, energetic, and refined without sacrificing depth or structure. With limited production and a pedigree rooted in one of the Rhône
