The Dolomiten Weiss IGT Kitz 2024 by Hans Rottensteiner is an excellent cuvée made from the carefully selected Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc (Pinot Blanc), Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay grape varieties. This combination offers a complex and aromatic experience that is typical of the diverse terroirs of the Dolomite region.
This white wine is characterized by its bright straw yellow color with slight green reflections. On the nose, it develops a complex bouquet of fresh citrus fruits, green apples, peaches and subtle floral notes, complemented by a subtle minerality. On the palate, the wine offers lively freshness, combined with balanced acidity and an elegant texture that results in a long-lasting, clean finish.
The particular strength of this wine lies in the harmonious fusion of the individual grape variety characters. Sauvignon Blanc brings in its crisp acidity and grassy fruity notes, while Pinot Blanc offers structure and elegance. The Pinot Grigio adds fruity depth and body, and the Chardonnay rounds it off with its creaminess and rich fruit.
