The Abendrot BIO 2019 by Thomas Niedermayr is a truly distinctive natural wine made from organic grapes. It’s an orange wine, showing a deep amber-orange hue.It macerates on the skins for three months, then matures for 31 months – half in stainless steel, half in wood – all on the fine lees. Bottled unfiltered and unfined in April 2022, it continues to evolve in the bottle. The nose offers almond, orange peel, dark stone fruit, and resin. On the palate, it is full-bodied, expressive and grippy, with a lively acidity and strong structure.
