The Pinot Blanc DOC Strahler 2024 from Stroblhof is an elegant, terroir-driven white wine from South Tyrol, combining the classic Pinot style with the unique identity of the Mendel slopes. The blend is composed mainly of Weissburgunder (about 90%), complemented by small amounts of Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio, a traditional vineyard mix cultivated for generations in St. Michael/Eppan.In the glass, the Strahler 2024 shows a bright straw-yellow color with green highlights. The bouquet brings together citrus notes, stone fruits, and green apple, enhanced by subtle mineral, floral, and herbal nuances – reflecting the cool Alpine climate and the complex clay, limestone, and porphyry soils. On the palate, the wine is fresh and harmonious, with lively acidity, clear fruit, and delicate minerality, providing structure and easy drinkability. The finish is elegant, long-lasting, and characteristic of the high-quality white wines from this historic South Tyrolean estate.
