The Pinot Blanc DOC Dellago 2024 from the Bozen winery is bright straw yellow with greenish reflections. Its bouquet features fruity aromas of Golden Delicious apples, pears and white peaches, underpinned with mineral notes. On the palate, it is elegant and powerful, with a fresh, pleasant acidity that gives the wine a lively structure.

The Pinot Blanc grape variety, also known as Pinot Bianco, thrives excellently on the porphyry and calcareous soils around Bolzano at around 500 meters above sea level. These soils combined with the large temperature differences between day and night in South Tyrol create ideal conditions for this grape variety. Winegrowing in this region benefits from a unique microclimate that promotes the development of complex and expressive

wines.

A special feature of Pinot Blanc DOC Dellago is careful vinification. The grapes are gently pressed and fermented partly in steel tanks and partly in barriques. Some of the wine undergoes biological acid degradation, which gives it additional richness and elegance.
