Abfüller Informationen
Domaine Poulleau, 7 rue du Pied de la Vallée, 21190 Volnay, FR
The Volnay 2022 from Domaine Poulleau shows a brilliant ruby red color. On the nose, intense aromas of red fruits such as cherries and raspberries develop, complemented by subtle floral notes of violets and a touch of spices. On the palate, the wine is elegant and well-structured, with fine tannins and lively acidity, culminating in a long-lasting, fruity finish.
This wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir, a grape variety known for its ability to reflect the terroir. Pinot Noir from Volnay is famous for its delicate structure, fruitiness and ability to become more complex as it ages. Volnay wines are characterized by their silky texture and elegance, which is promoted by the calcareous soils and the continental climate of the Côte de Beaune. This region is characterized by warm summers and cool winters, which provides optimal conditions for the grapes to ripen.
The aging process of this wine takes place partly in new French oak barrels, which gives it additional depth and complexity. Volnay wines are known for their ability to age well, and this vintage is no exception.
