The Viribus Unitis IGT “With United Forces” White 2018 from the Andi Sölva Winery is a remarkable white wine that impresses with its bright yellow color with green reflections. On the nose, fruity aromas of ripe apples, pears and citrus fruits develop, accompanied by floral and nutty notes. On the palate, the wine is powerful and mineral, with lively acidity and a long,
persistent finish.
This wine consists of Sauvignon Blanc (35%), Chardonnay (25%), Pinot Blanc (20%) and Riesling (20%) grapes. Sauvignon Blanc brings intense fruit aromas and freshness, Chardonnay provides richness and structure, Pinot Blanc gives elegance and fineness, while Riesling is known for its characteristic acidity and
minerality.
The special feature of this wine lies in its careful vinification and the collaboration of the two winemakers Andi Sölva and Norbert Kofler, who combine the best from their vineyards. The aging takes place largely in stainless steel tanks and partly in large wooden barrels, which gives the wine additional complexity and depth. The 2018 vintage is characterized by optimal weather conditions, which led to excellent grape ripeness and thus to a particularly expressive
wine.
