The Syrah IGP Tellus – 2022 from Falesco is an elegant and expressive red wine from the Lazio region, Italy. This wine is deep ruby red. On the nose, it develops a rich bouquet of juicy fruits such as ripe cherries and plums, accompanied by sweet spices and a touch of vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied and tasty, with a fine freshness and soft tannins that result in a persistent, harmonious finish.

This wine is made from 100% Syrah grapes. The Syrah grape is known for its intense fruit aromas and its ability to produce wines with both power and elegance. In Lazio, where the climate is temperate and the soils consist of volcanic rock, the grape variety has optimal conditions. This region is characterized by warm summers and mild winters, which allows the grapes to ripen for a long period of time and results in complex aromas.

The grapes for Syrah IGP Tellus are carefully selected and destemmed before undergoing alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 15 days, followed by a slight maceration on the skins. The wine is then aged in used barriques for five months, giving it additional depth and complexity.
