The Sylvaner Riserva DOC Alte Reben – 2022 from Pacherhof is an exquisite white wine that impresses with its elegance and depth. This wine has a clear, bright straw yellow. On the nose, it develops an intense bouquet of ripe apples, white flowers and a subtle note of herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied and complex, with remarkable minerality and a long, harmonious finish.

This Sylvaner is obtained exclusively from old vines that are rooted deep in the mineral-rich soils of the Eisack Valley. These old vines contribute to the particular intensity and complexity of the wine. The Sylvaner grape variety is known for its freshness and ability to reflect the minerality of the soil, which is particularly reflected in this Riserva.

The special thing about Riserva wine is the extended aging period, which gives this Sylvaner additional depth and structure. After careful hand harvesting and careful vinification, the wine ages on fine lees in large wooden barrels for up to twelve months. This aging process gives it its complex aromas and smooth texture.
