Description
- Aged rum produced by St. Lucia Distillers, Saint Lucia’s last remaining distillery, in Roseau
- Produced in accordance with the Saint Lucia Rum Geographical Indication
- Open fermented for 36–45 hours in concrete tanks using proprietary yeast and water from the Roseau River
- Distilled in a combination of a St. Lucia Distillers’ Coffey column still, “John Dore 2” copper pot still, and Vendome copper hybrid still
- Distillates are aged separately in ex-bourbon barrels for 11 years before they are blended by Chairman’s Reserve head blender Deny Duplessis; the blend is briefly rested in oak before bottling
- A nose of char, menthol, and dry tobacco blossoms on the palate with spiced Bing cherry and a finish of gentian, white flowers, and dark chocolate
- 46% ABV
