The Sauvignon DOC Vigna Castel Ringberg 2023 by Elena Walch comes from one of Alto Adige’s most prestigious single vineyards, located above Lake Caldaro. The vines grow on calcareous and glacial-origin soils in mid-slope positions, where warm sunny days and cool evening breezes from the mountains create ideal conditions for balanced ripening. In the glass, it shines with a bright straw-yellow colour and subtle green highlights. The bouquet reveals a layered aromatic profile of elderflower, fresh herbs, gooseberry, and delicate citrus notes. On the palate, it is fresh and juicy, with lively acidity, precise fruit and a touch of fine spice.
