The Rosso Piceno DOC BIO 2024 from Saladini Pilastri is a remarkable organic wine from the Marche region. This wine impresses with its deep ruby red color and tempts with intense aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherries and plums, complemented by fine spicy notes and a hint of violet. On the palate, Rosso Piceno is balanced and soft, with well-integrated tannins and a pleasant, fruity freshness on the finish.
The cuvée consists of 70% Montepulciano and 30% Sangiovese. Montepulciano grapes are known for their strong color and intense fruit aromas, while Sangiovese is appreciated for its elegance and structure. This combination gives the wine its characteristic depth and complexity.
A special feature of this wine is its organic certification. The cultivation is carried out without the use of synthetic chemicals and pesticides, which not only protects the environment but also preserves the natural aromas and purity of the wine. The aging process involves fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in large oak barrels. This promotes the development of complex aromas and a velvety texture that makes the wine particularly pleasant.
