The Rosso di Bepi IGP 2016 from Quintarelli is an exceptional red wine that impresses with its depth and complexity. The wine shows a classic ruby red color in the glass. On the nose, it develops an intense bouquet of red fruits, licorice, sour cherries and tobacco. On the palate, it is very enveloping, round and sophisticated, with sweet and velvety tannins that give this precious wine a long-lasting persistence
.
This wine is made from Corvina (55%), Rondinella (30%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%) grapes. Corvina brings intense fruitiness and fine acidity, Rondinella adds soft tannins and harmonious balance, while Cabernet Sauvignon provides structure and depth.
A special feature of Rosso di Bepi is the complex appassimento process, in which the grapes are slowly dried after harvesting to concentrate their aromas. This is followed by a 20-day maceration on the skins, followed by a 45-day fermentation. The wine is then aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for seven years, giving it additional
complexity and elegance.
The Rosso di Bepi 2016 is typical of the wines from the Valpolicella area, which is known for its mineral soils and temperate climate. This region offers ideal conditions for viticulture, and the wines are characterized by their longevity and complexity. This wine has more than earned its place in the wine cellar
