The grapes originate from the single vineyard Ried Pössnitzberger Kapelle, defined by steep slopes and calcareous, marl-rich soils with marine sediments. These conditions give rise to a Chardonnay of remarkable finesse, minerality and depth. The grapes are carefully selected and vinified according to organic principles. Ageing on the fine lees with a restrained use of oak adds structure, precision and complexity. Its dense texture and excellent ageing potential highlight the exceptional quality of this wine.In the glass, the 2020 vintage shows a pale golden colour with subtle silvery highlights, combining freshness with maturity. On the nose, it reveals a layered aromatic profile of elegant yellow fruit, delicate exotic nuances and a pronounced saline minerality, complemented by subtle herbal notes and fine reductive hints. On the palate, the Chardonnay is precise and well-defined, supported by a fine acidity, silky texture and impressive mineral depth.
