Pinot Grigio DOC Famiglia Bianchini – 2024 from Forchir is an outstanding wine that embodies elegance and freshness. This Pinot Grigio is soft straw yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose, aromas of ripe pears, green apples and a hint of citrus fruit develop. On the palate, it impresses with lively freshness, balanced acidity and a subtle mineral note that is soft and persistent on the finish.
This wine is made from 100% Pinot Grigio grapes. Pinot Grigio, also known as Pinot Gris, is a white grape variety with gray-blue berries. It is known for its versatility and produces wines that range from light and fresh to full-bodied and complex. The vines are usually grown under Guyot, which allows optimal sunlight and ventilation of the grapes. After careful harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh fruit aromas.
The fine balance between fruit and acidity is typical of wine, which makes it particularly refreshing and easily accessible. The grapes come from carefully tended vineyards, which benefit from the region’s optimal conditions. Pinot Grigio from this region is characterized by its distinctive freshness and fruity aroma. The wine reflects the typical characteristics of the Friulian terroir, which is known for its mineral soils and cool climate.
