The Pinot Grigio 15 – 2025 from Castelfeder is a classic South Tyrolean white wine made from 100% Pinot Grigio, one of the region’s most defining grape varieties. Despite its darker grape skins, Pinot Grigio is vinified as a white wine: after harvest, the grapes are gently pressed to preserve freshness and clarity. The designation “15” refers to a specific vineyard area in the Bassa Atesina, whose site conditions play a key role in shaping the wine’s character. Following fermentation, the wine is aged in stainless steel, complemented by several months on the fine lees to enhance structure and depth.Pinot Grigio 15 represents a precise, terroir-driven interpretation of the variety, combining freshness with balance and elegance. The style focuses on clarity, harmony and purity of expression. In the glass, the wine shows a bright straw yellow colour. On the nose, it is fresh and expressive, with aromas of ripe pear and apple, accompanied by delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is harmonious, lively and full-bodied, with well-integrated freshness and an elegant, well-balanced finish.
