The Weißburgunder IGT “Vom Muschelkalk” 2023 from Abraham Estate is a single-varietal Pinot Blanc named for the shell-limestone soils (“Muschelkalk”) that impart pronounced minerality. The vines grow over 600 m altitude on the Gfillberg near Eppan, rooted in deep porphyry soil with clay, gravel, loam, and striking fossil-rich limestone layers.
