The Nero d’Avola DOC Aynat – 2018 from Canicattì impresses with its deep ruby red color. The bouquet reveals intense aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherries and raspberries, complemented by notes of black pepper and a touch of chocolate. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and harmonious, with soft tannins and a long, elegant finish.
This wine is made from 100% Nero d’Avola grape, which is known for its strong aromas and deep colors. Nero d’Avola is one of Sicily’s most important and characteristic grape varieties and produces wines with a rich body and remarkable structure.
This wine is characterized by its balance between fruitiness and spiciness, favored by Sicily’s Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters. The vineyards are located at altitudes of 200 to 600 meters and benefit from sandy-loamy soils with limestone content, which gives the wine its characteristic minerality and complexity.
