The Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva DOC “Pandara” 2018 from Cantina Frentana is a characterful red wine from Abruzzo. Made from the Montepulciano grape, it displays an intense ruby-red color with garnet highlights. The bouquet offers complex aromas of ripe cherries, plums, and delicate spice, enriched by a touch of vanilla from oak ageing. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-balanced, with ripe tannins, harmonious acidity, and a long, persistent finish. As a Riserva, this wine has aged for at least two years, partly in barrel, gaining extra depth and elegance. An impressive partner for hearty meat dishes and aged cheeses.
