Sensory :

Displaying a delicate salmon hue with onion-skin reflections, this wine boasts a persistent and refined mousse. Aromatically complex, it presents vivid notes of freshly baked brioche, bread crust, and cherry, layered with red rose and hints of dried petals. On the palate, its fine perlage enlivens the vibrant acidity and precise fruit character. Morello cherry and floral notes remain crisp and fresh, balanced by the structural tension lent by gentle tannins. The finish is long, elegant, and dry, showcasing the harmony between fruit, acidity, and texture.

Winemaker’s Background:

Le Marie was founded by Valerio, whose deep passion for viticulture led to the creation of a boutique winery rooted in Piedmont’s storied terroir. With the support of his wife, Luigina, and children, Simona and Daniele, Valerio crafts expressive, small-production wines from vineyards nestled in the historic hills of Assarti. These ten hectares, enriched with red schist soils and a gentle alpine microclimate, yield grapes with purity, character, and a deep connection to the land’s medieval heritage.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve well chilled at 8°C (46°F) in a white wine glass or tulip-shaped sparkling flute to capture its refined mousse and layered aromas. This versatile rosé shines as an aperitif and continues seamlessly through seafood starters, delicate pasta dishes, risottos, soft cheeses, and even marbled red meats.

The 2014 Le Marie Metodo Classico Rosato Pas Dosé is a vivid example of Piedmont’s sparkling potential, elegant, structured, and captivating from first sip to finish.
