Distiller’s Background:
Lalo Tequila traces its roots to the Jalisco Highlands, where childhood friends Eduardo “Lalo” González, grandson of legendary tequilero Don Julio González—and David “R” Carballido set out to create a pure, unadulterated expression of tequila. Inspired by a small-batch blanco served at a family wedding, they dedicated themselves to producing tequila with only three ingredients: fully mature Highland agave, deep well water, and champagne yeast. Their mission is not only to honor the time-honored craft but to empower the communities of Los Altos de Jalisco by supporting local families and preserving Mexico’s rich tequila-making heritage.
Serving Suggestions:
Best served neat in a Riedel tequila glass to appreciate its pristine aromatics and silky texture. Lalo Tequila Blanco also shines in craft cocktails such as a Tommy’s Margarita, Paloma, or Ranch Water. Pair it with fresh ceviche, grilled shrimp tacos, citrus-marinated chicken, or Oaxaca cheese for a vibrant culinary experience.
Lalo Tequila Blanco, Mexico, delivers a masterclass in refined, modern tequila, honoring its storied heritage while presenting a beautifully clean and expressive sip that invites both connoisseurs and new explorers alike
