Lagrein Rosé 2025 from the Andrian winery is an exquisite representative of South Tyrolean viticulture. This wine impresses with its delicate pink to salmon red color. Its bouquet develops fresh, fruity aromas that are reminiscent of exotic fruits. On the palate, it is light and fresh with a well-balanced acidity and a subtle, slightly tart finish. The Lagrein grape variety, an autochthonous variety from South Tyrol, gives this wine its unmistakable characteristics. Lagrein is known for its intense color and fruity notes, often combined with a pleasant spiciness. Lagrein Rosé is grown at an altitude of 260 to 380 meters, on soils of calcareous clay and dolomitic rock, which gives the wine its minerality andfreshness. The traditional rosé vinification in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, which preserves the freshness and fruitiness of the wine, is particularly remarkable. The Alpine-Mediterranean climate is typical of this wine-growing zone, which is characterized by warm days and cool nights and allows the grapes to mature for a long period of time, creating complex aromas.
