Bright and light in appearance. The nose abounds with aromas of lemon, white peach and nectarine, a wet stone minerality follows. A broad spectrum of intense flavours from tropical fruit to herbal notes with a bold minerality. The palate is textured and distinct with a well balanced acidity. An elevated expression of Sauvignon Blanc. Fresh and lively, the wine concludes with a punctuated and long crisp finish.

Fresh and vibrant with zesty citrus skin notes and lemon blossom, the 2022 Sauvignon Blanc offers aromas of lime candy and sea spray. Medium-bodied and with 13.6% alcohol, the wine is beautifully balanced, expressing a harmonious palate with flavors of rocky flint, crunchy citrus and herbs before offering a soft, nutty expression over the citrus-laced finish. Nicely done!

The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc comes from 42 vineyard parcels and undergoes an 80% wild ferment so that some take up to two months to finish, aged 5% in barrel and six months on the gross lees. The intense nose has bruised apple, nettle, lime and light orange pith scents. I can imagine this having wide appeal. The palate has quite a tropical-tinged opening with touches of mango and pineapple, yet the “Savvy” DNA still comes through, and there is admirable bite on the finish. Delicious.

There’s a subtle plumpness to this tangy white, with a light, toasty edge to the flavors of baked apricot and orange curd. Hints of flint and herbs play on the finish. Drink now. 10,000 cases imported.
