Family winery created in the 18th century with the Groult family’s establishment at Clos de la Hurvanière on the Pays d’Auge heights, the first Calvados only appeared in 1860 when Pierre Groult decided to distill his usual cider. The Calvados quality from Maison Groult was very quickly acknowledged by Calvados lovers in the world and rewarded with its first gold medal in 1893. Ancient bottle, the 8 year-old Vieux Calvados from Maison Roger Groult will delight lovers of unique eaux-de-vie.
