Description
This lovely wine is 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir from the Premier Cru villages of Ludes and Montbré. 3g/l. Disgorged October 2023. 10 months on fine lees before aging 4 years in bottle. The wine opens with bright citrus and crisp orchard fruit, framed by delicate floral notes and a subtle chalky edge. The extra-brut dosage keeps the palate taut and energetic, allowing fine bubbles and a whisper of brioche to add texture without weight. Clean, precise, and mineral-driven, it finishes with a lingering saline snap. This cuvée pairs beautifully with oysters, sushi, or fresh goat cheese, and also complements simple dishes like poached fish with lemon or a light seafood tart.
