Description
This wine is made of 100% Chardonnay. Fermented in large stainless steel tanks with native yeasts, and on its lees for 8-10 months. The vineyards are largely marly limestone, which is said to contribute to the wine’s grainy minerality. Fruit is still a large presence in this Mâcon, and shows itself in anjou pear and honeysuckle. Still a dry, long finish, and a great pairing for linguine alla vongole.
