The Dolomytos Weiss 2020 from Ansitz Dolomytos Sacker is a remarkable white blend featuring Pinot Gris (Ruländer), Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Assyrtiko, Petit Manseng among others. Grown at 500 m elevation in sun-exposed porphyry slopes of Unterinn/Ritten, the grapes are gently pressed and undergo natural fermentation in handcrafted 150‑liter oak barrels (“Cigarillos”). After approximately 23 months on lees with regular bâtonnage, the wine matures 1–2 years in a unique underground tunnel. The result is a layered white wine with oxidative structure and classic Burgundian elegance, capable of aging for over 15 years.
