Description
The clear, sweet Blanc variety of vermouth was first created and made famous by Dolin in Chambery. It is traditionally served with a sliced strawberry, a splash of soda and a twist. Dolin Blanc shines in cocktails with clear spirits, most notably the Blond Negroni, with gin and a gentian liqueur. It also marries beautifully with vodka, white rum or tequila, and is the ideal complement to any Alpine-style cheese. Made to the same style and recipes since 1821, Dolin Vermouth de Chambery has long been the benchmark for fine French Vermouth. In the late 19th century, Dolin Vermouth de Chambery won medals in Paris, London, St. Louis and Philadelphia. In the 1930s, Chambery became France’s only protected designation of origin for Vermouth.
