Every bottle of Del Maguey Single Village Mezcal celebrates the traditions of ancestral villages that give each expression its own unique character. Del Maguey Puebla is a 40% Alc./Vol. edition Single Village Mezcal crafted through artisanal methods in a state-of-the-art palenque near the base of the volcano Popocatepetl. This expression brings the heritage of Vida Clasico from San Luis del Rio, Oaxaca, to Axocopan, Puebla. Ripe magueys from Puebla are cooked underground, naturally fermented and twice distilled in small copper stills. Nose of bright fruit and florals with a soft texture, a hint of green herbs, poblano peppers and savory notes of cooked maguey.
