Description

The 2021 Seventeen Forty Reserve is a blend of 85% Cabernet Franc and 15% Merlot matured for 20 months in 70% new French oak. It takes plenty of aeration to unfold from tar and soy to dark fruit, lavender and sage aromas. The full-bodied palate is surprisingly light on its feet with crunchy, floral fruit, a balance of fresh acidity and grainy tannins and a long, perfumed finish.
