On the palate, it is full-bodied and elegant, with velvety tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, spicy finish. The blend consists of 49% Merlot, 31% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, and 11% Carménère, lending the wine remarkable structure and balance. Compared to previous vintages, the 2022 edition places a stronger emphasis on Merlot.Typical of the Curtefranca region – adjacent to Franciacorta – this red wine reflects the essence of its terroir: a mild climate, mineral-rich soils, and Ca’ del Bosco’s meticulous care in handling each grape.
