The Chianti Classico DOCG Ama 2023 from Castello di Ama is an authentic expression of Tuscan winemaking tradition – a wine that perfectly unites elegance, origin and craftsmanship. The blend is based mainly on Sangiovese, complemented by small amounts of traditional local varieties that add structure and depth. The grapes come from hillside vineyards around Gaiole in Chianti, where limestone soils and a Mediterranean microclimate create ideal conditions for finesse and tension. In the glass, it shows a vivid, deep ruby red. The bouquet opens with ripe cherry, wild berries and dried herbs, layered with floral and delicate spice notes. On the palate, the Chianti Classico Ama displays juicy fruit, vibrant acidity and refined tannins. It is balanced, elegant and persistent, finishing with freshness and a fine mineral touch – a pure and sophisticated representation of the Chianti Classico terroir.
