Abfüller Informationen

Domaine La Mereuille, Route du Grès — Impasse 2580, 84100 Orange, FR

The Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge 2020 from Domaine La Mereuille comes in a deep ruby red color. The scent unfolds intense aromas of black cherries, ripe raspberries and plums, complemented by spicy notes of pepper, licorice and a touch of dried herbs. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well-structured, with soft, well-integrated tannins, lively acidity and a long

, complex finish.

This wine is made primarily from Grenache (70%), Syrah (10%), Mourvèdre (10%) and Cinsault (10%). Grenache brings rich fruit aromas and a silky texture, Syrah adds depth and spicy notes, while Mourvèdre and Cinsault add

structure and freshness.

The special feature of this wine lies in its terroir and traditional wine-growing methods. The vineyards of Domaine La Mereuille are located in the renowned Châteauneuf-du-Pape region, known for their stony soils, the so-called “galets roulés”, which store the heat of the day and release it again at night. These unique conditions promote uniform ripening of grapes. The Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters contributes to the concentration of aromas and gives the wines their characteristic intensity and elegance. The vines are grown using the traditional tapestry system, which allows optimal lighting

and ventilation of the grapes.
