The 1964 Château du Calvaire, from the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation, is a rare cuvée that embodies the nobility of the Right Bank’s clay-limestone terroirs. With a blend dominated by Merlot, supported by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, it delivers both aromatic richness and elegant structure.

The 1964 vintage is regarded as one of Bordeaux’s finest of the 20th century, especially on the Right Bank. Today, this wine displays a brick-tinted robe with deep garnet hues and a complex bouquet of ripe fruits, truffle, leather, tobacco, and forest floor.
