The Chardonnay DOC Pietrabianca Castel del Monte BIO 2024 from Tenuta Bocca di Lupo is bright yellow with greenish reflections. The scent unfolds notes of white-fleshed fruit, melon, orange and lime, complemented by delicate floral nuances of hawthorn and acacia as well as lively notes of vanilla and white chocolate. On the palate, the wine is fresh and structured, with a delicate minerality that is typical of the soils of Tenuta Bocca

di Lupo.

This wine consists of 90% Chardonnay and 10% Fiano, a combination that gives it its characteristic elegance and freshness. Chardonnay, known for its versatility, brings in rich aromas and a creamy texture, while the fiano gives the wine extra freshness and a subtle spiciness. What is particularly remarkable about this wine is its organic cultivation and careful vinification. The grapes are gently pressed and fermented in new French and Hungarian oak barrels before maturing on the fine yeasts for four months. This gives the wine its complexity and balance between freshness and woody notes.

Tenuta Bocca di Lupo, part of the Tormaresca winery, is located in the Apulia region and is managed by the renowned Antinori family. The winery philosophy is based on the potential of autochthonous grape varieties, which is reflected in the uniqueness and authenticity of their wines. The mineral soils, which give the wines their special structure and longevity, are typical of the Castel del Monte wine-growing zone.
