Louis Roederer, 21 volumes Lundy, 51100 Reims, FR
The Brut Collection 246 by Louis Roederer is presented in a bright golden yellow shade that impresses with fine, persistent pearls. The scent is complex and rich, characterized by aromas of ripe fruit, citrus notes, and a touch of brioche, accompanied by floral accents and fine mineral nuances. On the palate, it is fresh and elegant with a harmonious acidity that results in a long-lasting, delicate finish.
This champagne is made from a combination of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier grapes. Pinot Noir brings structure and body, while Chardonnay provides elegance and finesse. Meunier adds fruitiness and roundness. These grape varieties from selected plots in the best locations in Champagne give the wine its unique balance and depth.
A special feature of Collection 246 is the use of the “Réserve Perpétuelle”, a continuously replenished wine that has aged in large oak barrels over several years. This gives champagne exceptional complexity and remarkable consistency across different vintages.
