Abfüller Informationen
Domaine Pierre Morey, 13 rue Pierre Mouchoux, 21190 Meursault, FR
The Bourgogne Aligoté 2023 by Pierre Morey has a bright golden yellow color. On the nose, intense aromas of citrus fruits, green apples and fine floral notes develop, accompanied by a touch of fresh herbs and subtle honey. On the palate, it is crisp and fresh with a lively acidity that wonderfully structures the wine. The mineral depth and subtle notes of ripe pears and a hint of citrus create a harmonious and long-lasting finish.
This wine is made from 100% Aligoté grape variety, which is known for its refreshing acidity and citrus notes. Aligoté, often in the shadow of the more famous Chardonnay, produces wines that are characterized by their liveliness and clarity. Aligoté develops its full potential, particularly in the Bourgogne region, where the climate is cool and the soils are calcareous.
The special feature of Bourgogne Aligoté 2023 lies in the vinification: The grapes are gently pressed and fermentation takes place spontaneously in glazed cement tanks. A long aging of 18-20 months in the same containers gives the wine a particular depth and complexity without losing its pure fruit character.
