This wine is a blend of Tempranillo, Graciano (Gra-thee-ano), and Garnacha. Bright and juicy with licorice notes, this wine would go great with grilled sausage (with fennel seed) and pepper sandwiches and a fennel salad with a honey balsamic vinaigrette. This expression of Rioja comes from the subregion of Rioja Alavesa, grown from clay and calcareous vineyard sites.
