The 2019 Malbec Punto Final Reserva is a blend of grapes from the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo, aged for up to 12 months in first use French barrels. This is a Mendoza Malbec with a modern twist. Violet in the glass. The slightly reductive nose offers fresh plum, blackberry, hints of gunpowder and oak. The broad palate is terse with finely grained tannins that deliver a chalky profile with good juice and a pleasantly fruity finish. This wine is one for drinkers looking for a new wine that differs from the standard profile of this variety and region.
