Pinot Noir DOC Mimuet BIO 2022 by Alois Lageder is an outstanding example of the quality and finesse that South Tyrolean wines can offer. Made from the Pinot Noir grape variety, also known as Pinot Noir, this wine shows the typical characteristics of this noble grape, which is characterized by its fine structure and elegant aromas. The grapes come from cooler locations in Eppan, Kurtatsch and Buchholz at an altitude of 370 to 520 meters above sea level, where they find
optimal conditions.
The Pinot Noir is brilliant garnet red with ruby red reflections. Its subtle bouquet impresses with fruity notes of berries, accompanied by spicy and fine woody nuances. On the palate, it has a medium-weight structure, elegant, light-footed and velvety, with noticeable tannins and a
fresh note that lingers on the finish.
This wine is not only certified organic, but is also grown according to biodynamic principles, which underlines the winery’s sustainable philosophy.
Interesting for wine lovers: The name “Mimuet” comes from Ladin and means “to my taste”, which reflects the winery’s personal touch and dedication to perfection.
