The Pinot Noir DOC Krafuss BIO 2021 by Alois Lageder is a particularly elegant and complex Pinot Noir that reflects the uniqueness of the South Tyrolean wine-growing region. This grape variety, also known as Pinot Noir, comes from selected locations in the village of Appiano/Montagna, at an altitude of 430 to 450 meters above sea level. These altitudes offer ideal conditions with their calcareous, loamy and gravelly soils, which give the grapes their characteristic freshness and minerality.
The wine has a bright ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The scent develops a distinctive bouquet of red and black berries, accompanied by spicy notes, pepper and a hint of flint. On the palate, it is medium-weight, fruity-spicy, lively and silky, with balanced acidity and a long, velvety finish.
Interesting for wine lovers: The name “Krafuss” is derived from the historic estate that was taken over by the Lageder family and rehabilitated in 1991. Pinot Noir DOC Karfuss BIO 2021 is an excellent example of the precision and passion that Alois Lageder brings to wine production and offers an unforgettable taste experience for connoisseurs.
