The Pinot Noir DOC Luzia 2024 from the St. Pauls Winery is an impressive Pinot Noir that impresses with its bright and profound characteristics. The color is brilliant ruby red. The bouquet develops a multi-faceted aroma spectrum, which includes small red berries such as wild berries and currants, as well as raspberries and cherries. There are also delicate floral and herbal notes. On the palate, the wine is elegant, with a smooth tannin structure and a finely spicy-fruity, long-lasting finish.
This wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, which grow on deep limestone soils at altitudes of 350 to 500 meters above sea level. These soils and the special location on the Pauls high plateau offer ideal conditions for the grape variety, which is known for its complexity and elegance.
Vinification involves cold maceration lasting a few days, followed by slow fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in large wooden barrels and tonneaux, giving it additional depth and complexity.
