Ruinart, 4 rue des Crayeres, 51100 Reims, FR
Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is an exquisite champagne made exclusively from 100% Chardonnay, the Ruinart signature grape variety. This champagne shows a brilliant, pale yellow color with greenish reflections and a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, it develops intense aromas of fresh citrus fruits, ripe pears and white peaches, accompanied by floral notes of lime blossom and a touch of ginger and pink peppercorns. On the palate, the wine is lively and elegant, with a fine balance between freshness and roundness, and a long, delicate finish characterized by notes of ripe citrus
and tropical fruits.
The grapes for Ruinart Blanc de Blancs come from various top locations, including the Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims, Sézannais and Vallée de la Vesle. This diversity of terroirs contributes to the complexity and depth of wine. The soil in these regions consists primarily of chalk, which provides excellent drainage and mineral notes that enrich the wines
.
The aging process of Ruinart Blanc de Blancs involves fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation. The champagne is then aged for 2 to 3 years in the historic Ruinart chalk cellars before being completed with a dosage of
7 g/L.
