The Barolo DOCG Monvigliero 2022 by Paolo Scavino originates from the renowned Monvigliero MGA vineyard in the municipality of Verduno, in the heart of the Langhe. This cru is widely regarded as one of the most elegant vineyard sites in the Barolo area and is known for producing particularly refined and aromatic wines. The vineyards are characterized by calcareous marl soils and a relatively cool microclimate influenced by the nearby Tanaro River. These conditions contribute to Barolo wines of remarkable finesse, aromatic precision and vibrant freshness. According to Barolo DOCG regulations, the wine must undergo several years of aging before release, allowing it to develop complexity and excellent aging potential.
