Accenteur Blanc IGP – 2021 by Domaine de l’Accent is a remarkable white wine from Languedoc-Roussillon. This wine has a brilliant straw yellow colour with green reflections. The scent reveals intense aromas of white flowers, ripe citrus fruits and a touch of honey. On the palate, Accenteur Blanc is fresh and lively, with elegant minerality and notes of pears, peaches and a
subtle nutty finish.
This wine consists mainly of Bourboulenc and Marsanne grapes. Bourboulenc, known for its freshness and acidity, gives the wine structure and liveliness, while Marsanne rounds off the taste with its full body and aromas of apricots andalmonds.
The special feature of Accenteur Blanc lies in its production. The wine is organically grown and vinified with minimal intervention. The grapes ferment on natural yeasts and the use of sulfur is reduced to a minimum. This preserves the purity of the aromas and the authenticity of the terroir. The mineral and fresh characteristics, which are characterized by the barren, stony soils and the Mediterranean climate, are typical of this wine and the Mont Baudile wine-growing zone.
