Description

Deep ruby-red. Knockout nose combines black fruits, minerals, dark chocolate, licorice, violet and crushed stone. Hugely broad, silky and ripe for this wine, with an uncharacteristically lush texture. Wonderfully full and layered wine with superb length and lingering sweetness. Compared to the Mazis, this is remarkably expressive today, but it’s hard to believe it won’t soon shut down in the bottle.
